Have you ever wanted to know the radius of a spot when you're browsing the Gowalla.com site? Maybe you've created a spot but you're not sure if you should choose 'large' or 'x-large'? Fear not, for Gowalla Tools is here with a new Bookmarklet to enable radii on Gowalla's own website.

An example of a radius on the Alamofire building

All you need to do is drag the link below (or right click and "add as a favourite" if using IE8) to your bookmarks bar. Then, when you are on a gowalla.com/spots/xxxxx page, simply click the bookmark to have the radius displayed. If you're editing a spot, click on the bookmark and again you'll get the radius but as you change the dropdown options (e.g. from 'small' to 'medium') the radius will automatically increase / decrease. Oh, and don't worry if when editing you move your pin - the radius for the new location will appear automatically.

Radius Bookmarklet (drag this to your bookmarks)

This bookmarklet has been tested in Safari 4, Chrome, Firefox 3.5, and IE8. Please contact me if you run into any problems.
